Abstract

Some studies of the last years about OPACs are reviewed, covering the following aspects: requirements for a good OPAC, online help, main problems for the users (mainly subject access) and improvement proposals, content of the bibliographic records, patron's training in the use of OPACs and main changes for the librarians.
