Abstract

Direct and indirect costs produced by the document supply, both for reproduction and loan, are examined together with possible financing options, their advantages and disadvantages. After describing the current legal situation of public services charges in Spain, the maximum and minimum fees for interlending activities of about 500 Spanish libraries are presented. The data emphasize the need of coordination between libraries in order to unify both fees and methods of request and payment.
