In this work we analyze the Spanish oncological research architecture through Spanish and foreign medical journals published in 1979, 1981 , 1983 and 1985. We conclude, in this context, that papers without a distinctive research structure prevail. Moreover, there is no correlation between the neoplasms that authors investigate and their incidence and mortality.
