International collaboration between Spanish and Latin American research organizations, in the last ten years was analyzed. The study has been developed through the co-authored papers published in Spanish scientific journals. Spanish organizations have cooperated with Latín American ones, mainly with those from Chile and Argentina. Bibliometric indicators are determined in order to establish the research trends, as well as the national or international interest of the topics. The most active Spanish and Latín American organizations involved in the collaborative works were identified. Spanish local journals related to the coauthored papers were also analyzed.
