National Policies on Scientific and Technical Information in Mexico

The Mexican national information programmes promoted by CONACYT and other institutions are presented. Those are: a) PRONDETYC; b) First Seminary about National lnformation Policies; and e) National Program of Science and Technological Innovation. Severa) national information services and access to databases services are pointed out. A total of 22 current Mexican databases are presented in detail.
