Abstract

This paper studies the doctoral dissertations read by the lecturers at the University of Granada from 1975-1990 from a gender perspective. Starting from a quantitative analysis their production is examined by disciplines, areas of knowledge and year. Aspects related to the distribution, direction or co-direction of the doctoral theses are also studied. This paper attempts to answer two questions: Who has directed the female lecturers dissertations? And whose theses have they directed once they have become doctors?
