Abstract

We try to check whether the joint application office and office automation models is valid as a tool for groupware implementation and whether this technology could give support to the specifications of the joint model. The operation of an office and its technological needs are represented through a joint model, resulting from the combination between a model of three levels of complexity and a model based on functions. We show both models and later we add detailed specifications of the resulting joint model. Finally, we present the main features and functionalities of Groupware and Workflow technologies, in order to show their level of agreement.
