Information and documentation services in a university library

Main considerations for the organization of information and documentation services of a Universitary Library are presented. The article is focused on the aspects related lo user's needs and expectations, interpersonal communication skills and Internet exploitation. The work approach used by the librarians of the Information and Reference Service of the Library of the Barcelona Industrial Engineering School is analyzed in the context of service quality.
