The state of the Spanish job market for graduates in library and information science

Analysis of the job market for those who gratuated in Library and Information Science in the academic year 1991-92. The survey has been based on data collected by means of a questionnaire sent to the forementioned graduates in 1993. It provides information concerning current levels of employment, employment status, job description, contractual commitments and a description of the various employers. The final part of the article consists of the opinions of those polled concerning their particular employment and the profession in general.
