The spatial performance of the relationships there are among researchers in Contemporary History of Jaén for 1990-1995 through their behaviour in citing process is the objective of this work. Through reference analysis based on Vectorial Spaces Model (VSM) and displayed in a graphic thanks to Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) results about research fronts are obtained: who leads them, who participates, and the «disciple/master» relationships established among researchers.
