The original papers published by Revista Española de Documentación Científica are systematically indexed by the most important bibliographic databases in the fi eld of Library and Information Sciences, including: Social Sciences Citation Index Database (SSCI) and Journal Citation Reports (Clarivate Analytics), so it is available through the Web of Science ; SCOPUS (Elsevier Bibliographic Databases); CWTS Leiden Ranking (Journal indicators); Library and Information Science Abstracts (LISA) (USA); ERIH PLUS (European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences) from European Science Foundation; DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals); REDIB (Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento), ÍnDICEs CSIC, Sherpa Romeo and DIALNET (University of La Rioja). It is indexed in Latindex Catalogue 2.0 (Sistema Regional de Información en Línea para Revistas Científicas de América Latina, El Caribe, España y Portugal) and has obtained the FECYT Seal of Quality (Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología) with mention of good practices in gender equality.
