Abstract


This paper describes a scientific journal evaluation system based on the analysis of multiple parameters: frequency of publication, historical prestige, standardisation, editorial board, papers evaluation system, origin of contributions, internacional diffusion and peers evaluation. The most prominent methodological aspects are commented, as well as the results obtained when applying this model to a broad sample of Spanish journals on Economics.
