Abstract

Women’s health is an aspect of great interest that arises with force in the 90s. The objective of this work consists in delimiting a topic of great interest and relevance as is the investigation on women from the point of view of health sciences, reflected in scientific publications. We considered that the best source for this objective is Medline. To this end we developed a methodology in three consecutive levels that allows us to show the intellectual structure of the concept of women in Medline, as well as to detect and identify its main descriptors in the database selected.
