Synthesis of Spanish bibliometric studies on education and their evaluation

The present work is a scientometric review in search of a synthesis of Spanish bibliometric studies of the educational field. Using a series of bibliometric indicators available in 29 retrieved studies, some insights could be obtained about the evaluation of educational research production performed in the Spanish system.
